The PAP has seen to it that Parliament in Singapore will not play its proper role and function - keeping control over the government.
I do not know how many Singaporeans watched the live broadcast of the British Prime Minister's appearance before the Parliament Liaison Committee over Britain going to war in Iraq.
To the Singaporeans who did which, it was another object lesson {coming soon after the object lesson from Hong Kong] on what Singapore needs to be a democracy.
The PAP has seen to it that Parliament in Singapore will not play its proper role and function - keeping control over the government.
The PAP have stood all political institutions on their heads making government control all political institutions. Political are the safeguards set up by the people themselves to keep the government under control. This is not the case in Singapore.
Singapore will never reach the status of a developed country with its political institutions castrated. When will Singaporeans realise that they and they alone are responsible for this state of affairs.
