The Acting Minister for Labour warns the SIA pilots to stop being confrontional. Who is being confrontational?
The PAP government does not like the new leadership that the pilots have chosen themesleves and theatens them. If that is not confrontational, what is it?
For the PAP government, for the tripartite relationship to be maintained, the unions must elect only leaders who will serve the government, who knows best, and not its members. What kind of tripartite relationships is this? It would appear to b a triangular relationship with the government sitting at the apex and laying down the parameters.
It is most unbecoming of a Minister to threaten the union because it chooses a new leadership. It can only happen in a mafia government. It is blatant interference in a matter that is solely the preserve of the members.
The PAP does not like anything adversial. They do not want politicians who are adversial, only politicians who will accept their system for Singapore.
