James Gomez of Think Centre was one of the more popular speakers at the inaugural Speakers' Corner at Hong Lim Park on Friday, 1 September. Although he was besieged by eager journalists after his speech, not a single quote of his appeared in the main dailies.
Indeed, a member of the public predicted that Mr Gomez was 'wasting (his) breath', and that nothing would be published in the press. Self-censorship or glaring oversight - what do you think?
